STRESS is a killer!

 

Don’t forget about it when you’re trying to reach your goals. You should learn how to manage it effectively so that it won’t interfere with whatever you’re trying to accomplish and discourage you in the process.

When the body is in too much stress, our flight and fight response is triggered leading to the release of hormones such as cortisol, the stress hormone. Cortisol slows metabolism eventually leading to weight gain. It also makes you crave for unhealthier options. So don’t underestimate it.

There are a lot of ways to handle stress. Below are just a few:

yoga
resting
sleeping/napping
deep breathing
eliminating stress factors
conditioning the mind with positive thoughts
Being content with what you’ve accomplished but striving for more.
massages
going out and spending time with friends/family
being with positive people
doing a worthwhile hobby
maximizing time and being productive
exercise which helps you regulate bodily functions
… and even getting the flat tummy that you want can also have a GREAT IMPACT on your stress level

If you can deal with STRESS effectively, there’s a stronger likelihood that you’ll be able to achieve your goals faster and succeed! 😀
